DESCRIPTION:Come out for a screening of the 1981 classic film “Reds”\, which portrays the lives of John Reed and Louise Bryant. Reed and Bryant traveled to Russia during the Bolshevik Revolution and covered the events in a number of articles and texts including Reed’s famous book “10 Days that Shook the World”. Both committed political activists fought for justice both at home and abroad. The film portrays their lives and relationship and also includes guest appearances by characters such as Emma Goldman\, Vladimir Lenin\, and more! Doors at 6:30 and the movie starts 7:00 on May 15th at South Bend Commons and we will have snacks and a number of zines and materials containing Reed and Bryant’s writings.
